Therapy
There’s a readiness in turning towards therapy. A courage too that we may discover in ourselves and draw upon.
Maybe there’s something that compels us to come. Something we might otherwise put to one side and yet still troubles us. Maybe there’s a stuckness that wants freeing up. Or something about our relationship with ourselves and our relationship with others that needs attending to. An event that disturbs our emotional equilibrium. Or maybe it’s an interested curiosity to know ourselves more deeply. To discover in ourselves a strength and a purpose.
Therapy leads to a greater awareness, a deeper sense of acceptance and a kindness towards ourselves.
The foundations of the therapeutic relationship are built on dialogue, trust and an affinity between the two of us. One that grows over time. It’s both confidential and non-judgemental. There’s a professional frame that holds us.
It's a process of listening and acknowledging. There's an openness in allowing what may emerge to emerge safely.
In doing so, I offer a safe space for what previously may have been unheard or unacknowledged.
As a therapist, I facilitate, perhaps guide, in navigating a path towards meaningful change. Mainly it’s about what you bring and openly sharing our responses.
Compassionately facing your situation together.
